A system is defined as a set of elements in interaction and interdependence. Any change in one element of the system
According to the systemic approach is Counselling and Psychotherapy, we are born into and develop within systems - that is, groups of strong influence, with the family being the most central. In every system, each member is connected to all the others through a web of relationships that goes beyond the individuals themselves and shapes the course and development of all.
The Systemic Approach explores the communication and roles of members within the system, aiming both to understand their significance and to seek the functionality of interpersonal relationships.

Couples Therapy

The aim of Systemic Family Therapy is to create a dialogue in which family members can connect collaboratively explore new ways of interacting and managing emerging difficulties that inevitably affect the family system as a whole.
In individual psychotherapy, the sessions take place between the client and the psychotherapist. The aim of this collaboration is to clarify the client's concerns and to work towards the goals they have set, within an atmosphere of respect and acceptance. The psychotherapist, as a companion in this process, acts authentically but not in a directive manner, showing trust in the individual's own strengths and decisions.
The aim for couples therapy is to recognise and understand the patterns of communication and interaction between partners. It is a process in which the psychotherapist approaches both members of the couple equally, with the goal of improving the functioning of their relationship.
